Seems we are finally heading into spring. We have most clean ups complete, are just wrapping up first lawn applications, turning on irrigation systems. Phasing from dormant season to growing season.
Here is an interesting and perhaps somewhat alarming article on the Spotted Latternfly. I will be distributing photos of the insect to our staff and reading this and other articles with them so that we all will be on the watch.
I’ve purchased the first of the battery/electric equipment to at some point re tool the 2 cycle motor driven equipment.
I used a line trimmer for about 1.5hrs. Pros: more quiet, no exhaust, no gas oil mix, no muffler to burn your arm.
Cons: less power, takes 10% longer to accomplish task, need charging sources so batteries can be charging while others are being used.
So I’m about 75% liking it. It may just be a matter of getting used to a new routine as well. I’m not a fan of changing the clocks 2 times a year!
Best,
Bill
