Hi Everyone,

So we have a disruption in our routines due to this Coronavirus. Like any bump in the road we need to assess what we can and can’t do about it, make a decision, stay flexible, and carry on as best we can. So this is what we are doing.

We appreciate the work and will keep on schedule. We are lucky to have jobs where for the most part we are outside. Our morning meeting is always held outside, (yes even on those very cold mornings when the ink in my pen is freezing a little). We always discuss the work, how we are all doing, any special items, and current events. I think it is important to start each day with a review of yesterday and a plan for today.

Today due to this mornings rain we are trying to have a 12:00 noon start. We have a phone/text routine that we implement at 5:45-6:00am on days like this. We are extremely organized. One can’t be in business for 24 years if you’re not organized.

We have again experienced a warm winter and there are a few forsythia starting to bloom. This is very early. Also since schools are closed, and everyone has these great houses on the east end there are more people around than usual.

We are also experiencing some recent cooler days and nights so hopefully that normalizes the unfolding of spring somewhat. We are currently engaged on the maintenance side in property clean ups and on the planting side in digging, transplanting, and organizing plant material for future planting.

Many thanks for the work. See you on the properties.

Best, Bill
